Is there any US location prettier in spring than the Washington DC Tidal Basin when the cherry blossoms bloom? I don’t think so. I fell in love with those pink petals some 16 years ago in Japan, so DC in Keep Running

Training, week of 3.26, 2018 Runs, and March #GoTheDist

March marked my fifth month in a row at running 50 or more miles, and my first ever crossing the 60 mile marker at 62.68. A lot of that had to do with one hell of a close to the Keep Running

My goals have been all over the place and as a result, January feels completely unfocused. For this year’s Run the Year challenge I decided solely to track running miles. I’m unclear if the 780 goal is doable, but it’s Keep Running

because this was very much a rest week. Other than for a date with their super duper foam roller on Monday, I didn’t even touch the gym until Thursday and that was really just a shakeout to see how I Keep Running

#MedalMonday, Fred Lebow edition

So I’ve been a little secret squirrel with my “training” posts. I knew what I was training for but didn’t want to make it whatever the blog equivalent of “Facebook official” is, because I wasn’t honestly sure if I’d start. Keep Running
